A Warm Welcome An introduction from Tania and Joel TurnerHello there! As a founder of Shine beauty salons I am excited to share the story of my personal journey with you - a journey that has blended my love of the beauty industry, a desire to build a successful business and the ability to bring a smile to the faces of my clients every day. At 23, I began the first tentative steps. After graduating with an Associate Diploma of Beauty Therapy, I proceeded to manage and run a couple of small beauty spas which gave me valuable, initial industry experience. By 1999, I opened the doors of 'Shine' in Australia Fair Shopping Centre on June 6. I am proud to say we now have stores on the Gold Coast, Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast. I am fortunate that Shine merges my extensive marketing experience and business skills with Tania's beauty expertise. Having worked in and run my own advertising agency for twenty years, I've seen many great brands and spent my business life being paid big dollars for my creative input into other people's products and brands. Today, I now direct the Shine business in the heart of the exciting beauty sector and dedicate all my time to our emerging Shine brand. The beauty industry truly is a beautiful industry. It brings so much pleasure to customers and staff alike. For me, beauty is an outstanding growth industry that I feel so lucky and honored to be working in and dedicating my career to.
